9. How the requested permissions are used

Photos/Media/Files
  • modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
  • test access to protected storage
    Used by Backup, Import & Export Module


Device ID & call information
  • read phone status and identity
    Used by Reminder Module
    When sound alarm is triggered, it check the phone status (on-call or not). If user is talking, it vibrates instead of sounds.

  • full network access
    Used by Import & Export Module

  • control vibration
    Used by Reminder Module
    You can set sound/notification reminder for worksheet and have the reminder vibrate.

  • install shortcuts
    Used by Home screen shortcut creation feature

  • prevent device from sleeping
  • disable your screen lock
    Used by Reminder & Restore Module
    When restoring database, the screen should keep alive.  
    When sound alarm rings, Reminder module should be able to wake device.

  • run at startup
    Used by Reminder Module
    All the scheduled reminder should be re-scheduled every time device is started. (Android OS requirement)

  • Google Play license check
    Used by License Module
    To check if current installation has license problem.
